24 slogan fonts for T-shirts, posters and shop signs

24 Bold, Brush, Retro and Hand-Lettered Styles for T-Shirt Makers, Poster Designers and Sign Shops

A slogan has a second to land. It sits on a T-shirt across a room, on a poster at a bus stop, on a sticker on a laptop lid, or on a shop sign people pass while walking. The font has to carry the words at that distance and still say something about the brand behind them.

This list collects fonts for slogan work in four styles: bold block letters that read from far away, brush fonts with movement, retro and groovy faces that bring a decade with them, and hand-lettered styles for friendlier messages. Every font here has a full alphabet preview on its page, so you can check the letters you need before choosing.

All fonts in this list are on Creative Fabrica, and a single All Access subscription unlocks every one of them, so you can try several styles before committing to one.

Bold and Block Slogan Fonts

Heavy, simple capitals that read from across a street. These carry a slogan on their own with no effects, which makes them the safest choice for screen printing and vinyl.

1. Athletic Division Font

Athletic Division Font by Almairatype Studio

Athletic Division Font preview, condensed collegiate slab serif capitals style

Best For: Team-style slogan shirts, club merch and sports event posters.

Tall, condensed capitals with sharp slab serifs, set in red on black on the preview with an “ESTD 2025” badge on the sides. It reads like lettering stitched on a college jacket.

Put a short slogan in two stacked lines and let the narrow letters fill the width of the chest print. The extra slides show it on badge layouts, so it also works for a club crest with a year underneath.

2. Veyora Font

Veyora Font by Kernova Fonts

Veyora Font preview, tall condensed bold sans style

Best For: Protest-style posters and loud statement tees.

Very tall, tightly packed sans capitals with almost no space inside the letters. The preview tagline itself says it: bold, condensed, impactful.

Because the letters are so narrow, you can fit a long line like “Create Your Impact” across a shirt without shrinking it. Use it in one color on a strong background, it needs no outline or effects.

3. Bincotan Font

Bincotan Font by ponuppo

Bincotan Font preview, rounded condensed monobold sans style

Best For: Café chalkboards, menu boards and food truck signs.

Narrow capitals with soft rounded corners and a single heavy weight, called a monobold font on the preview. It looks friendly rather than aggressive.

The extra slides use it for product names like “Cocomix Pineapple”, which is a good hint: short food and drink slogans on menu boards and labels. White on a dark photo keeps it crisp.

4. Golden Silence Font

Golden Silence Font by Anto (7NTypes)

Golden Silence Font preview, condensed display capitals with squared counters style

Best For: Motivational quote shirts, mugs and shop window signs.

Condensed capitals with squared, almost architectural shapes and narrow counters, in cream on rust brown. It is marked as exclusive to Creative Fabrica.

The mockups show “You Are Unique” and “Make Today Great” on shirts and a mug, exactly the slogan format it was built for. Keep the line short and the color warm.

5. Happy Block Font

Happy Block Font by Hayletter Creative

Happy Block Font preview, rounded playful block capitals style

Best For: Birthday shirts, kids’ slogans and sticker sheets.

Thick, rounded capitals with a soft, slightly bouncy rhythm, shown in pastel colors letter by letter.

Examples on the page include “Happy Birthday” and “Mommy Loves Me”. Mix two or three pastel colors in one word for kids’ designs, or keep it single-color for a cleaner sticker.

6. Smart Chunky Font

Smart Chunky Font by Eightde

Smart Chunky Font preview, chunky retro rounded sans style

Best For: Tote bags, mindset slogans and small-shop merch.

Heavy, soft-cornered capitals with a slight retro swing, black and raspberry on the preview. Exclusive to Creative Fabrica.

7. Pia Font

Pia Font by grifvixcolor

Pia Font preview, heavy rounded retro serif style

A heavy serif with soft, swollen shapes and rounded terminals, shown in black with a white outline. The preview calls it a retro playful font.

The outline treatment on the preview is ready for die-cut stickers. One word or a short name works best; at small sizes the tight counters start to close.

Brush Slogan Fonts

Dry, fast strokes that make a slogan look painted by hand. They bring energy to sportswear, streetwear and event posters.

8. Trushdex Font

Trushdex Font by Khurasan

9. Skybrush Font

Skybrush Font by letter battoyart

Skybrush Font preview, handwritten bold brush style

Best For: Travel slogans, city tees and social media headers.

A bold handwritten brush with visible bristle texture and a long swash underneath, mixed white and orange on the preview. The page lists it as PUA encoded.

Slides show city and travel words like “New York” and “Traveling”. Use the swash once under the main word, and keep the rest of the slogan in a plain sans.

10. Beast Head Font

Beast Head Font by fontkong

Beast Head Font preview, rough textured brush capitals style

Best For: Streetwear, skate merch and gym shirts.

Rough, heavily textured brush capitals that lean forward, white on a black leopard photo. Also PUA encoded according to the page.

The examples include “Beware” and “Beast, Wild & Free”: short, loud slogans. Print it in white on black tees; on light colors the texture looks dirtier, which can be the point for skate brands.

Summer Lagoon Font preview, tall narrow brush handwritten capitals style

Best For: Summer event posters, surf shop signs and beach tees.

Tall, narrow brush capitals with dry stroke ends, white on bright orange. The slides mention multilingual support and show the numbers.

Narrow letters mean longer slogans fit: event names with dates, “Show up” style lines. Bright backgrounds and white letters are the natural setting for it.

Retro and Groovy Slogan Fonts

Bubble shapes, multiline stripes, worn textures and typewriter ink. These give a slogan a decade before you even read it.

12. Yazan Font

Yazan Font by mail.skygroup

Best For: Retro merch and logos with stacked color stripes.

Outlined capitals with several colored lines stacked behind them, pink, yellow and orange on teal. The preview calls it a multiline display font and says it is made for logos and merch.

The stripes do the decorating, so one short word is enough. On a shirt use the outline version in a single color if your print method limits colors.

24. Brainstorm Font

Brainstorm Font by Illustration Ink

Brainstorm Font preview, monoline handwritten script style

Best For: Classroom posters, planner quotes and sketch-note slogans.

A thin, even handwritten script surrounded by sketch-note doodles on the preview. The slides show it in quotes like “We are all in this together”.

Lighter than everything else here, so use it for longer slogans that should feel personal, not shouted. Teachers’ posters and planner stickers are a natural fit.

How to Choose a Slogan Font

Decide the distance first. A shop sign or a poster is read from meters away, so pick a heavy, simple face like Veyora Font or Golden Silence Font. A mug or a sticker is read up close, and a lighter script such as Brainstorm Font works there.

Count the words. Condensed fonts (Athletic Division Font, Summer Lagoon Font, Handmade Monogram Font) fit long slogans without shrinking. Wide or decorated fonts like Yazan Font and Noel Font are best kept to one or two words.

Check the print method. Screen printing and vinyl cutting prefer clean, solid letters. Textured fonts like Beast Head Font and Retro Grunge Font look great printed, but the small specks are hard to cut and weed.

Type your own slogan. Every font here has an alphabet on its page, and most have a preview field. Type the exact words, including numbers and punctuation, before you choose.

How to Set a Slogan

Break the slogan into lines by meaning, not by width: “Good Things / Take Time” reads better than splitting a phrase in the middle. Put the key word in the biggest size.

Use one display font per slogan. If you need a second line for a date, a city or a small tagline, choose a plain sans serif, or use a built-in duo like Nice Twice Font.

Leave space around the text. On a T-shirt, a slogan that ends a few centimeters before the seams looks finished; one that runs edge to edge looks cramped.
