Classic Bubble Letter Fonts

Round, heavy and easy to read. These are the bubble letters people sketch in notebooks: thick strokes, small counters and soft corners, with no drips or patterns built into the shapes.

1. Big Bubble Font by GraphicsTreasures

Best For: kids’ party banners, cake toppers, bold T-shirt words

Very heavy capitals with swollen strokes and tiny counters, shown in black on a pink background with daisies. The preview calls it a retro groovy font, and the letters sit so close together that a word reads as one solid shape.

Use it for one or two big words. Because the counters are small, give it a generous size and a little extra letter spacing on cut vinyl, so letters like B and E keep their holes clear.

2. Paper Bloom Font by Naraya Studio

Best For: classroom posters, craft fair signs, sticker sheets

Black, heavy capitals with straighter sides than most bubble fonts, so the letters look more like rounded blocks than balloons. The preview sets them on torn paper with paper flowers and calls it a cute bubble display font.

The flatter sides make longer words line up neatly, which helps on banners and shelf labels. Pair it with a light handwritten font for the smaller notes.

3. Daily Bubble Font by HansCo

Best For: café menus, sticker designs, social media titles

Cream capitals with small white shine marks on the curves, set on a dark background with pink sparkles. The highlights make the letters look glossy, like inflated plastic.

It looks best light on dark, as in the preview. The shine marks may be part of the preview styling, so test the plain letters before you plan a design around them.

4. Bubble Honey Font by Infinity art Studio

Best For: kids’ room signs, bakery labels, planner covers

Pink rounded capitals with a lighter weight than the rest of this group. The strokes are thick, but the counters stay open, so it reads almost like a soft rounded sans.

This is the easiest font in the section to read at small sizes. Choose it when a bubble look has to carry a full name or a short phrase.

5. Super Bubble Font by anamalmusyaffaCreative

Best For: cartoon titles, kids’ video thumbnails, party invitations

Hot pink, chunky capitals that tilt slightly and bounce along the baseline. The preview labels it a cartoon font and keeps the background plain cream with a few sparkles.

The bounce gives the word movement without any extra effects. Keep the background calm, as in the preview, and let the uneven baseline do the work.

6. Bubblu Font by Minimalistartstudio

Best For: logos, packaging, Cricut stickers

White, ultra-heavy capitals packed so tightly that the letters nearly touch. The preview lists logos, packaging, crafts, stickers, Cricut, social media and branding as uses, and names OTF, TTF and WOFF files.

With this much weight, one short word is enough. It works as a wordmark on a deep color, like the dark green in the preview.

Groovy & Retro Bubble Fonts

Bubble letters with a 70s swing: flared shapes, wavy rhythm and soft distortions. Several previews in this group add outlines, shadows or two-tone fills on top of the letters, and the entries point that out.

7. Jelly Groove Font by Soho Studio

Best For: candy shop branding, summer party flyers, kids’ merch

Hot pink capitals with a darker lower half, a white outline and small shine marks, so each letter looks like a piece of jelly candy. The preview calls it a groovy retro bubble font.

The two-tone fill and outline are the main appeal, so plan for color printing or layered vinyl rather than a single-color cut.

8. Moonberry Soda Font by TINY GRAPHIX

Best For: retro packaging, café signs, stickers

Upper and lowercase letters in pink and orange with a deep brown 3D outline, and heart-shaped counters in the o’s. The preview mentions 300+ glyphs and multilingual support.

Lowercase is rare among bubble fonts, which makes Moonberry Soda a good fit for longer product names. The hearts are a strong detail, so keep them for titles and large text.

Orange capitals with a pink outline and a pink drop shadow on a purple background. The letters are heavy and slightly irregular, and they hop up and down along the line.

The preview colors are loud. For a softer look, test the font in one flat color first, then add the outline and shadow as separate layers.

The hand-drawn edges keep it from looking too smooth, which helps when a design needs a crafted feel rather than a polished one.

How to Choose a Bubble Font

Start with where the letters will live. For stickers, party decor and kids’ designs, look at the cute and kawaii group. For shirts and posters with more edge, go to the graffiti bubble fonts. For coloring pages and tracing sheets, choose an outline font such as Chunky Playful Outline or the empty version of Outline Groovy.

Check the counters, the small holes inside letters like B, O and P. Very heavy fonts such as Big Bubble and Poppoly Bubble keep those holes small, so test them at the size you will actually print or cut, especially on vinyl.

Separate the font from the styling. Many bubble previews add colors, shine marks, outlines or shadows. Type a word in the plain font first and decide which effects you want to add yourself.

If the design needs an age, a date or a team number, start with the last section. Those four previews show the numbers 0–9, so you can see how the digits match the letters.

Bubble Font FAQ

What is a bubble font?

A bubble font is a display font with round, inflated letters: thick strokes, soft corners and small counters, as if each letter were drawn as a balloon. It is made for titles and short words rather than body text.

What is the difference between bubble letters and graffiti bubble letters?

Classic bubble letters are smooth and even, like Bubble Honey or Paper Bloom. Graffiti bubble letters add street details such as drips, overlapping letters, tilted shapes and layered outlines, as in Whops, Tlooper Gump and Gruze.

Which bubble fonts work for coloring pages?

Outline fonts work best, since the letters stay empty inside. Chunky Playful Outline, the empty version of Outline Groovy and Cute Balloon are the closest matches in this list.

Which bubble fonts include numbers?

Groovy Buggie, Rhythm Block, Love Heart Doodle and Bubble Graffiti show the numbers 0–9 in their previews. For the other fonts, check the character set on the product page before you plan a design with numbers.

Can I use bubble fonts with Cricut?

Fonts installed on your computer appear in Cricut Design Space, so an OTF or TTF bubble font can be used for cutting. For vinyl, outline and lighter bubble fonts are easier to weed than very heavy ones with tiny counters.
